While Candice became famous in the field of acting, she initially embarked on her journey as a musician. In 2009, she debuted her debut album "It's Always the Innocent People' in United States. She wrote twelve songs out of 14 included in the album. Simultaneously she worked on her acting career, as well as being a guest star on a couple of shows including How I Met Your Mother and Greek. Although she had a steady career, her big break did not come until The Vampire Diaries. She became a household brand within a short time. Candice King's dazzling performance and acting abilities were highly praised. The series ran for 171 episodes across eight seasons. The role she played on a regular basis was shown in The Originals, a spin-off in 2018 and Legacies in 2021, which was a show.
