Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss as is her mom who's English. She was raised on the southern part of London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While attending the academy, she performed in a number of performances on stage, such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through the film Storm Damage. Since then she's made guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha on The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared for six seasons Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi as the main character on ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred in the 2008 comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series aired in the US on The CW for only two episodes, before it was ended. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama series was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. The departure of Madekwe from the show was officially announced in May of 2013. After a period of two years as the main character she was a guest in the first episode of season three. From 2014 until 2016she appeared in Salem in the role of Tituba. In June 2012, the actress got married to her long-time partner, actor Iddo Goldberg. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he is also a part of the cast in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. The four brothers she had were also present: twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball parks since the four brothers who were athletic were hockey players, baseball players, as well as both during summer and winter. Ashley didn't walk, instead she danced. At age two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started Baby Ballet. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap hip hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed from high school. All of the big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the title "top Soloist".
